What was done in the past cannot be undone. Our perception of the past is tainted by our opinions and preferences and by who and what we are today. So do we ever really see the past with complete clarity or is it always being edited and evolving in our memory?<br /><br />Methinks b is the correct answer.<br /><br />All we have to work with is right now, whether we understand what brought us here or not. <br /><br />I think that we often get too caught up in trying to explain things away by going back, going back, recalling and replaying the stories we think are responsible for how things are when all we can really do is make a different choice right now.Ven. What matters most is what we do with our present situation." <br /><br />This is a tricky comment to me. Although it's true that we only have now, the past is right there with us in every moment. And although causes and conditions are complex and hard to untangle, there are certain things one can point to from the past that might be the only learning points available to shift your life. Of course, this awareness of the past is now - not the past.
